Episode 77: Chris steps in to answer the top three questions sent in by garage owners. We'll tell you how MOT Manager can help your business.
1. "I don't book jobs at specific times!" That's no problem. MOT Manager displays time slots purely to represent the opening hours for the garage. Each ramp in the diary can be labelled as the technician's name so maximum booking capacity can be applied.
2. "We won't use online booking as I don't want customers booking in all work". By default, MOT Manager only offers MOTs for online bookings via text reminders. You can then choose to include more services. Online bookings are in real-time so customers can only provisionally book where there is space. You ALWAYS confirm the booking when you are happy with the information.
3. "Can you send email MOT reminders?" Short answer no. As email reminders are massively unsuccessful compares to text messaging. We don't include it as you won't get the results from customers booking their MOTs directly with your garage.
